The Precinct Academy and Daycare is a licensed Daycare center located in San Antonio, Texas. We provide utmost care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children (ages 6 weeks to 12 years)

Mission Statement

Here at The Precinct Academy we are committed to providing a positive environment for all children and their families. We strongly encourage the parent(s) to take part in the learning and care at Precinct Academy. We respect the culture and beliefs of all children and families when they are at the Center.

Curriculum

Standing by our belief that every child is unique and special in their own way, we have created age appropriate, interesting and varied curriculum built towards ensuring that your child is being instilled with values that are not merely educational but also focused towards the emotional and character development of your child.

Qualified Caregivers

The Precinct Academy and Daycare is not just lauded as one of the best family owned and operated daycare centers San Antonio because of its services, but also because our caregivers are qualified professionals trained in CPR, safe sleeping practices for infants and other emergency procedures. Our professionals ensure that your child’s natural interest is closely monitored to devise an individualized learning program that automatically improves learning outcomes.

All our caregivers go through extensive FBI fingerprint and State Licensing board background checks before they are allowed within the daycare.

In addition to having Qualified caregivers, we provide educational courses to our caregivers frequently for age- appropriate health and safety practices

Safety

We have in place policies that ensure that the student to caregiver ratio is low enough to ensure that your child is dutifully watched and in capable hands.

It is very important to us that every child is returned home safely, in respect to this, procedures have been put in place to ensure that children are only released to authorized individuals. A form of identification by a pre authorized individual has to be shown to the staff in charge and a double check has to be conducted before any child is released.

Health and Well-Being

The health and well being of your child is our greatest concern. It is our goal that every child at the Precinct Academy and Day care center is well fed and healthy.
We provide a healthy meal plan which consists of breakfast,  lunch and healthy snacks to keep the child’s brain active and aid learning.

Play is inculcated in their learning to aid brain development. Healthy interactions with caregivers and mates is often encouraged as we are more interested in the positive well-being of your child by going the extra length to ensure that the needs of every child is met.
